| Pari B chapter 14 . 7/11/2017 I'm a huge fan of AU's that stay within the actual HG verse so I was very happy to stumble upon this one. I'm glad that you have Katniss owning some of her insecurities and inadequacies that made her difficult to like sometimes in my opinion. As a heads up, just be careful with some of your medical procedurals. An injury to the subclavian artery has an incredibly high morbidity rate because of complications from hematoma and widespread emphysema. Also, there would need to be a debridement of the affected pectoralis major to prevent infection as well as the wound would need to be constantly irrigated. Even a veteran surgeon wouldn't be able to close the artery within 4 seconds safely without causing harm to the artery in a well stocked OR far less for by the side of the road. Sorry to nitpick, but I'm a surgical resident, so it's my bread and butter. |
