I love how you connect soccer (American habits die hard) to it, a nice historical connection that's well done, and it gives people and idea of what that game must have felt like. And it's also a fantastic contrast to the modern (and so very cool) laser football!
Also, good touch with Lovino noticing the difference in skin color and how that might play a larger role in something.

I actually feel bad for Sebastian. That was definitely a low blow by Lovino, even it turned out to be true and the two made up. Lovino definitely seems a bit self-entitled, but considering how sheltered he is I can't find it in myself to blame him.
This fic is really interesting, considering I really don't know anything about the whole football culture, or even what it's like to play it for real. Disastrous things happen when you give me a soccer ball XD

I am half Scottish, and I speak with a Scottish accent. I can totally relate when people who speak English as a Second (third, forth etc) language can't understand me.

I really loved reading through the first two chapters, because it captures Lovino well, especially as a child. Antonio also seems like a nice caring teen, and that makes me smile as well. .
