I really liked the way she liked his old house, that was nothing special to him, but to her, it was.

All the etc. was good, but I liked the emotion and interaction w/in it all.

Lovely, from the set up, to the boggart to the litany as Snape does his buttons, to the made up regulations, to the banter, to the passing on mushy peas but farting anyway. Gorgeous and deftly done.

My favourite line out of a scad of favourite lines was: "That was my mother's," Lucius announced with cold, incredulous accusation.

I found the cursing Hermione a bit amusing. I normally don't write her as a potty mouth, but every curse she did had me rolling. Also, I'm not sure how I didn't review this before, so since I apparently fail at such things, I will leave you this now. I love your turn of phrase that seems so real and over the top at the same time. Kudos for the story, and thank you for sharing it.
