This is such an adorable, but also thoughtful story, written with great empathy for the characters. I enjoyed reading it tremendously and it warmed my heart to see such a lovely althernative continuation of 1x10. Seeing them breaking up at the end of the epi nearly broke my heart, but your story mended
it.
Your way of story-telling is very fluent and pleasant and you built up everything in a considerate way and without any drama, which makes the story-line feel very natural to me.
Loved to the glimpses you gave us into Constances and DArtagnans thoughts and feelings (especially the story about his mother and his baby-brother) and how you gave both of them moments of feeling insecure, but never losing faith into their love.

The scene when Constance tells DArtagnan about the pregnancy is very well done and I loved her "without-further-adoe"-attidude wen she tells him. It is very much in character just like his reaction.
Also I enjoyed DArtagnan realizing he did not even know her with name and Captain Trevilles line about a dream in which he gets commands form DArt is priceless. As is Constances bickering not being a helpless woman because of her pregnancy.

Glad Constance has been granted a divorce and the have been able to marry. Thanks to Queen Anne!
Your hints on the Anne/Aramis reaction are done with great sensitivity and are also bringing a suitable
touch of bittersweetness to this story.

This fic is about both Constance and d'Artagnan growing. The details about d'Artagnan's mother's death, him keeping a list are balanced by Constance's relationship with the Queen and her ex-hubby.
