This is absolute perfection. I love it! I read the entire thing last night-so addictive! You have perfectly captured Bass and Charlie's personality, their relationship. Even where Charlie made decisions that frustrated me, it was true to her character. This is very well written, and the suspense is awesome, makes it impossible to put down. Thank you so much for sharing this! I will be rereading for sure.

WOW...just Wow. That was incredible. And HOT. I loved how the story started out with Charlie stealing a private moment to herself to masturabate, which I'm sure she doesn't get a ton of opportunities to do only to be walked in on by Monroe. Then Monroe being his cocky self walks in and closes the door behind him rather than giving Charlie her privacy. And teases her until she reveals her fantasies and he understands so perfectly that he understands her better than herself. It was so incredibly in character and just so amazingly hot and so well written too. And that was just the first chapter. I'm off to read the rest now.

Lightning! Crashing waves, fireworks, really good story with fun fighting, trust, angst, anguish! Injury :(, another rescue in the nick of, forgiveness and a hug from a slightly unexpected direction, chess with humour :), Aaron being embarrassed :D more lightning, crashing waves and exploding suns! Then big warm hugs this time... Sigh ... What's not to like? Cheers :D

'You came back..' - it's become such an iconic phrase in this universe hasn't it and a pivotal one in this story (?) and Bass' need for redemption and forgiveness - I am glad that here, he may be able to find some sort of peace with Rachael (things there are so complicated though that there is room for lots of different interpretations... sorry, getting late and rambling a bit... Really want to finish this tonight - so next chapter here I come :)

It was pretty obvious when I saw the title of this chapter that something like this was going to happen ..., it has to I suppose as part of the hero/heroine journey but it's always hard to read/live through... :(

You write extremely well and obviously have a thorough understanding of human nature in general as well as the (possible/likely?) motivations and needs of these two characters in particular; sincere congratulations :D

I read some of your Revolution stories because I loved your Covert Affairs stories. Now I'm going to have to start watching Revolution-too bad it's been canceled, but I know I can watch it on Netflix. Keep up the great writing!

Okay I've read this story a couple of times over on A03 and it's one of my most favorite Charloe stories! This newest chapter was out of this world amazing, and so unbelievably hot and filled with emotion! I loved it! I really hope that you have more this story for us soon! It's great! :)

I liked the way you wrote the moment of poor judgement followed by the morning after clarity. Points to Bass for his well honed powers of on. Nope. Couldn't do it. I'd be puking or Bass would just have to deal with the mess. Damn straight Monroe should be looking at her with nothing short of complete adulation.
