Tim was absolutely perfect here and I loved this, giggling a bit at the nameless student's correct proclamation of Tim's awesomeness and in general very pleased with Tim's even handed dealing with the whole issue, well done

...no, Jason and Dick were BOTH adopted into the Wayne family. Jason being adopted was one of the main issues that caused Dick to resent Jason and HATE Bruce during those early years in Bludhaven.
Dick was FINALLY adopted by Bruce when he was about 22, but he was legally adopted. Dick also HAD to become Bruce's legal heir, even back when he was just Bruce's ward, for the state to even agree to let Bruce become his legal guardian. SECOND of all. In order to become a legal guardian, a person has to be over the age of 21. That's why most minor children, despite having an adult sibling, go into foster care.

This is seriously one of my favorite stories. It is very well written and it does show how high society family would handle a situation like this. I also love Damian's realization that he should treat Tim with the respect he deserves. Please write more one-shots like this, perhaps with Damian doing things with the other members of the family, like how Jason would get him out of a tight spot on the streets that only a street kid would know about, or Dick showing how to deal with traveling with very little resources and doing street performances to get some extra cash.

Anyways, I enjoy this piece and would love to read more sometime!

Awww, so cute! And Damian kinda reminds me of me- not that my teachers were teaching outdated information, but I would often call them out on other things they were wrong about. And get in trouble for it. *sweatdrop*
