This was just brilliant. I had to read it in two sittings because it was intense, but it was worth it. It looked like you were thinking about making this a series? I see you have some other works that I will definitely check out now, but I hope you do continue in this universe, there is so much more that can be done with it.

That was a rather sad story. I hope Lantis is going to be okay. Still, I'm glad Obi-Wan is going to recover (hopefully) from what happened. And what happened to Xanatos? I'm curious...

I really loved it. I couldn't focus on work today, I just had to read it in my breaks. I loved Obi, I loved Qui, I even loved your OCs, even though I normally don't like them. This was a very good, thorough story. Loved it :)

I loved this story, and I thought it deserved more reviews than it has gotten - many more. It's dark and it's raw, and I love the characterization and the treatment of Obi-Wan's PTSD - if it can even be called that while the traumatic stress is ongoing, and not "post." Qui-Gon was fantastic in this story as well, and you portrayed the bond between them very well. You never overdid the angst, and the lighthearted moments were funny enough to overcome it whenever things threatened to turn a little too angsty. I enjoyed your prose as well. Had I reviewed each chapter as they went up, I would probably have specific examples for you, but unfortunately nothing is coming to mind.
Adaen made a good villain. He had me fooled up until he appeared at the Jedi Temple, at which point he seemed off... I knew there had to be a mole, I was expecting it to be one of the Jedi, not a tormented kid! But at the end, you made me hate him. I love it when authors can make me hate their villains.
And Xanatos was creepy, not to mention sadistic. I know he's not "your" villain per se, but IMO, regardless of copyright, the characters kind of become "yours" when you write them... they're the characters in your head, not the head of the patent owner. And yours was the best Xanatos I've seen in fanfic. His lines remind me of some of my villains in my own (original) stories, particularly the "torture is a work of art" bits. You also handled the captivity sections expertly, and captured the hopelessness of the situation fantastically. So while the heroes shined, it was the villains in the shadows that made the fanfiction absolutely fantastic.
Altogether this was a great story. Glad I spent several hours reading it, and I will look eagerly forward to the sequel!

Both extensive EU knowledge and decent characterisation was present. I am actually very impressed!
I assume you've read the EU series following young Obi Wan and Qui Gon? Loved that series, and always enjoy seeing fan fiction taking place in that period.

I wasn't actually supposed to read it all now, being at work and all, but I couldn't really put it down. Very well-written and good plotline to boot!

Damn. Hope we get an update soon, would like to see a sort of epiologue, or that it continues.
