Aw, what a sweet story. I don't always buy into Mycroft/Sherlock fluff, but you do it so well and thoughtfully. The two of them seemed to have saved the petulant, mucking around for when they were older. Everyone has theories as to what led their relationship astray, but it's always nice to go back to a time when their dynamic was simpler.

This was sweet, touching and pretty accurate (I witness similar scenes with my two little ones every week, although my "older sibling" isn't old enough yet to be as understanding as Mycroft here). Loved the "teddy bear or action man?" bit, and the stoicism Mycroft showed even while Redbeard drooled on him and Sherlock used him as a human pillow...LOL.
