Oh well, here I thought Bubu's only problems were his lack of humor and bad hair (and possible yogurt kink). What the hell was I thinking?! Anyway, I finally took the time to read this story from beginning to end and I have to say (as much as I don't really enjoy sad endings) that it was great. Clockwork Gilbird was an amazing idea and the whole steampunk setup was quite ingenious, as well as making the awesome Gilbert into a mechanic ;) I hope you write more RoBul, or just more Ro ;)

That ending is much more satisfying than an ending where someone dies.

OH MY GOODNESS T_T this was so amazing but so sad. I don't know if I was glad that I read this or not. It broke my poor thirteen-year-old heart DX I font know much about steampunk...in fact, I don't know anything about it. But I still must, must, must review.

On the bright side, I loved your Gilbert :3 Prussia is one of my least favorite characters of all of them - since he's mostly portrayed like an idiot. But you brought life to him and loved it for the short time he was in the fic.

I really enjoyed the whole story (even with this ending. It's sad and touching - but it suits the whole story better than happy-end, that's true). When you described the operation, I felt dizzy as if it was my operation (it was so well described that I almost felt Tsvetan's pain), and you made me both laugh and cry during the story. And I appreciate even the side story with the relationship of Alin and Erzsi (and - because it's me - the AusHun parts as well :D) I love how you captured their personalities and how let their psychology work (e.g. when Alin hesitates if he should believe Tsvetan or not) - you know, I am glad it wasn't a story with plot like "Tsvetan has his duty-but he fells in love with Alin-so they escape-and they lived happily ever after" (a story like this would be nice, but not very interesting). This story of yours was both nice and interesting and I am glad it ends like this because it gives us, the readers, hope for a sequel... ;)

Thank you for writing it and...let's hope Alin's words will fulfill and they'll meet again. One day.

Really like Alin's counting for some reason, like, it was a great way to show his fear and helplessness as his time left trickled away.

Yeah Alin you fucking tell him! Tsvetan /really/ needed a telling off. Glad he didn't just blindly forgive him because that would just be really unhealthy. Really liked Alin in this bit, and how you wrote him, angry and hurting and emotionally raw!

Nice kiss scene! Realistic and awkward and almost cute. If not so emotionally... yeah

Great imagery with the hands! And how it conveys Tsvetan is still dangerous and Alin still can't trust him fully. Or at all. Can Tsvet even be trusted?

Laughed at Tsvetan 'rescuing' Alin, and Alin's outrage at being carried. The 'i treated you like a princess when i carried you from the airship' bit killed be, as did the following conversation.

Fantastic, if very horrifying, description his France's death! It contrasts really well with all the emphasis on how beautiful and angelic he was described as earlier. Especially since it made him seem untouchable and immortal

Well, firstly, the operation scene, whilst unexpected (thought it would cut straight to after but holy crap!), was really well written! You wrote Tsvetan's feelings and emotions and fear and pain fantastically! I actually got scared it was so real! Since I don't know what he's gonna do, there's a chance he deserves it though.

The pigeons were interesting, did you write them as a metaphor for Al and Tsvet or something?

You write from Tsvetan's point of view really well! And his thoughts and emotions and reactions were really realistic! And his reaction to his leg was really adorable and child-like! And sooo cute! Awww poor bby

I love how hopelessly in love Tsvetan is, to the point where he's in denial but can't stop himsef doing things for Alin and being nice and he can see himself going against his plan and duty but cannot stop himself at all.

The sense of foreboding is so strong and I'm really worried, especially with lines like Tsvetan wanting Alin to be happy 'for the time being anyhow' or 'he nor alin would ever get the chance to pay it back' why? what's gonna happen? does tsve plan to hurt alin? will alin die? D:

It's a nice change seeing Alin descried as a messy sleeper and it's really nice. A lot of fics, and published stories, tend to have one character describing their sleeping love interest as being all beautiful and perfect and then there's these two. It seems more realistic too, and sweet that Tsve still thinks Alin's cute even when he's snoring and drooling.

Oooh his guilt about Andrei's really emotional too! Especially when you mention about his dependence on Alin. He's gonna kill Al, isn't he? You evil melon!

Tbh I thought he was planning to push Alin off the gondola. Glad that didn't happen!

Wait was Tsvetan's mission to blow up the city? Or even the palace? So he had all those explosives on the ship and when they crashed they caught fire and blew up? Wow so if it hadn't been for the storm then Alin and Andrei could've died? D: And if Al and Erzi hadn't found Tsvet then he'd have blown up too, oh wow what a horrifying thought!

Amazing! I was worried that right after Tsvetan left the hospital he'd leave Alin to do his mission! I'm so glad they had a moment AND at the end with the bomb site! Complicates things nicely and really balanced the chapter to me. I'm so excited for the next chapter!
