I just wanted to say your stories (at least this one and one other) are not complete crap.

They may not be great, but I think thats more due to self-inserts being incredibly hard to do well.

Anyway, keep writing! As long as you keep at it you will improve. And we readers need you to keep providing content! Thanks for posting, and I hope you continue to write.

Hi! I was wondering if Harry received his letter early? To my knowledge, he got his letter exactly on his birthday, July 31st, and went shopping on the first of August. If Arlina's birthday was on the 16th of May and she went shopping a week later, that would mean that she went shopping on the 23rd of May. So how exactly would they meet? This also brings up another question. I'm pretty sure Hogwarts is still in "school mode" in May because they let the kids out for summer break in June. So wouldn't Professor McGonagall have to give the orientation in the summer, not during May? Also, I love your name choice! I haven't seen that one yet and I've been reading Harry Potter Fics for more than two years!

I'm going to say that you could have done something really great with this story, but I won't begrudge you not completing it if that's what you want. A hint though, change the status from HIATUS to DISCOTINUED. Hiatus gives people a hope it will be finished :)

I really enjoy this story, and think it has a good concept and there are loads of opening for character development with your oc. I think your writing is good, and it keeps the reader interested, and I like that you show the personality of your oc and give her a good part within your story as it makes me want to read more about her and get to know her, and also makes me want to see more interaction with the characters.
I have also read your Magi self insert fic and also think it is a brilliant idea, and I can't wait till the introduction of Aladdin.
All in all, I think you have a creative mind and a way with words, that keeps the stories I've read so far, alive.
I hope you do start up again soon, and goodluck with any other future writing. :)
