Reviews for New Morning
Lorde Shadowz chapter 1 . 5/12
Yessss, perfect! I've often wished there were more insecure!Snape stories out there, and you do a perfect job at writing them. I do love Snarry as a ship, but so many writers either write him as powerful, dominant and dangerous, or they go the complete opposite direction and write him as being completely sappy and submissive after a few kisses. Thanks so much for being the happy medium!

Sisilia11 chapter 1 . 2/11/2015
Mach weiter so!

AlmondWithUnicornHair chapter 1 . 12/31/2014
Delightful story! Sometimes a story of this length with a love scene occurring relatively quickly feels forced, but this was just perfect. There was enough of a backstory to make this very believable. I love the miscommunication and Severus' lack of confidence. Beautifully done and very realistic. The love scene was Very Hot. :D I thought this was one of the best, one of the most realistic, portrayals of Severus bottoming. I love that Severus likes to sleep in and how Harry said he doesn't do one-nighters so he's stuck with him. So many sweet, cute, and funny moments throughout the story.
Thank you for writing!

Sister of Mayhem chapter 1 . 10/26/2014
Me like! :-)

Changing perspectives doesn't always work for me, but you obviously know your way around it without repeating yourself. Other writers often end up recounting each scene under the guise of revealing the thoughts of the other character, but why would anyone want to read the same scene twice?

Luckily you didn't fall into that trap. On the contrary, knowing each and every thought helped to understand Severus' reactions, and Harry's. It was exciting to already know crucial information right before the other character did. It added tension to the story, and I was constantly afraid that it would end badly- with Severus running away, for example, to the other end of the world and refusing to talk to Harry for the next four years. Now, how tedious would that have been? Luckily you didn't let it escalate like that- which only shows the maturity of this story.

Thank you for a refreshing read!
Incarnadine chapter 1 . 10/6/2014
I think what I like most about your stories is the way you write conflict and misunderstandings without anyone having to be the bad guy, and with the reader always understanding how thw characters feel and why. I always love your Severus, but I especially like Harry in this. There's just something very charming about his combination of bravery and insecurity, thoughtlessness and sensitivity. He seems mature while still being authentically a 23 year old man. This is one of my favourites of yours. Really must get around to reviewing the rest! :)

Sheankelor chapter 1 . 7/9/2014
Oh, that was lovely. I do like how you changed from one point of view to another. You did it so smoothly and succeeded in covering the important parts.

I find it quite nice that it was Severus that saved Harry from the himself, and that it was Severus' potion that he trusted in the morning. The poor man, it has to be horrible not to know what you did the night before. I would love to see that scene through Severus' eyes, just the part at the bar and then dragging home. Nothing else after that is needed. I know, I can image it myself quite well...

Any rate, back to the poor mind blank young man... To be so worried that you forced yourself on someone and of course not knowing how to ask. I ma glad he pulled up the courage to do so. I am glad that he trusted Severus enough to ask. It is sad that he flubbed up his response, not in his mind, but in Severus'. I am proud of Severus by the way. He let all that out and it saved weeks of angst and aggravation.

Nice locks on the house by the way. Helped to resolve the issue, Harry was right in how long it would take for Severus to resurface. But I think the very end was the best, when Harry told Severus to stay.

Thank you for such a lovely interlude in my tale.
