I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I really like the way you incorporate past episodes in your story, in fact you do this with most of your stories and this makes them more true to form. You are a very talented writer and I know I will enjoy your other stories. Keep writing the fantastic stories.

Couldn't read past papa-Jim warning Castle not to hurt Beckett at this point in the series.

Okay, I find this a little weird! He tells her he loves her, she tells him she loves him, but she says she's not ready to be in a relationship the way she wants to be? Granted, while she is recovering, they are in a certain 'can't go there' mode, but why wouldn't they go ahead and be in the relationship if they've already admitted their love? What am I missing here?

I like the way you had Rick portrayed here. Far too often he's such a milquetoast of a character, even on the show, but you gave him a backbone here which I hope to see happen on the series. Ah well, if wishes were fishes...
