What a shame you didn't adapt this scene to be different from the book! Your description led me to believe that was your plan.

Scarlett's got her marching orders, now it's Rhett's turn to apologize for absconding and taking Bonnie with him. Rhett, you tell her you missed her, take her in your arms and kiss her breathless. If she scolds when your lips part, kiss her again; repeat, as needed instead of arguing. Rhett's going to need a place to sleep tonight and it better not be Belle's!

Well, you've set the table, now we want to feast on you changing what happened in the book.

Too bad Scarlett didn't have the presence of mind to redecorate her bedroom (making it less frilly), moved all his belongings into "their" bedroom and transformed Rhett's room into a nursery. That would get his attention! Curious to see where you're taking this after a very long hiatus.

This is so sad. I can't wait for what you promised - some pride put aside and a better ending.

You are truly an amazingly gifted writer...this was such a blessing to read. I was mesmerized with your writing style and how beautifully you executed Rhett and Scarletts inner thoughts and perceptions of their relationship. Very well done . it is definitely a tale worthy of continuing.

I really like this story. It goes by mostly what happened but then at the end of chapter three we see that she has seen his face as she is falling. Looking forward to reading more. Please update soon.
