This is my second time reading this, and the first time I observed that this story has none of the heartfelt reviews it so deserves. Halfway through reading this a second time, I felt the urge to look away from it and gather myself as my throat choked up; yet I resisted the temptation to do so simply for how well it was written.

I feel great pain in Mephisto's heart. Although the word 'love' was never uttered once, it's quite obvious that that's what he felt, even if he didn't understand.

Most importantly, I feel you keep Mephisto very in-character to fit along with the events of Blue Exorcist-which in my personal opinion, is rather difficult for ME to do. If anything, I'm a little jealous. OoO'

Though there were a few minor errors, they really do nothing to mar the careful intricacy that you have in this one-shot.

And that wording... just magnificent.
