Aww, NiRi, this is just so sweet! I read it before, but very much enjoyed
reading it again. :-) The idea of Thranduil and Gimli putting their heads
together about the statue of Legolas' mother is very touching.

Beautiful. I could really feel Legolas' mingled grief and joy and could identify with Gimli's nervousness.

The conversation about the rapid blinking was great fun. Love the idea of Legolas not wanting a simpering girl as companion. Legolas musing that one can see better without all the eye movement was cute.
