Oh Bones! I love how you love Booth but this is very messy and he is right to be worried about you. Excellent stuff once again. Jared is really in it deep. Can't wait for more. :)

I'm just so glad you're finishing the story that I'm just happy for the ride. I'll add, that as long as they eventually come back together in the story, I'm a happy camper. I'm caught up, & impatiently waiting for updates:)

Seems like I keep saying...poor Booth. Having to shorten the little bit of time he fights to get with his son. The sense of duty he feels in protecting those he loves. I noted that you stated people were complaining about no B&B time. Although that is the main reason I watch the show & read FF, I truly enjoy the stories. I'm loving this one. Plus, B&B have remained in contact. Can't wait to read on.

Intense chapter. This cannot be leading to a good encounter. Luckily Parker was oblivious to what was going on. Poor Booth.

How frightening for Booth to have to go check on his mom, unsure of what condition she might be in after that flashback. Rough times. Sounds as though Brennan isn't fending much better? Love the way you're elaborating on Booth's family dynamics.

Although late to the game, I'm loving the story. Poor Booth. Always seems like he carries the weight of the world on his shoulders, especially with his family. I wish he would share more with Brennan. You hit the nail on the head regarding his encouraging & pressuring her to share her thoughts & feelings, but not reciprocating. Something's gotta give?

Well, that gut feeling is correct, even if Jared hasn't admitted it yet. I think things are about to get messy for them all.

So far so good, except for the ill gut feeling regarding Jared. And, he definitely has someone special in his life. Loving this.
