Wow! This story was so amazing it was literally novel quality! I was sucked into this world and never imagined greaser akatsuki members but that’s all I can think about now! Also I was never a sasosaku fan or never understood it but the heated possessive moments between Sasori and her made me melt! Now I dream of a possessive tough greaser Sasori in my life

I real this story way, way back when you first posted it. It wasn't even completed at the time. Then as I was reading through summaries, seeing the third part kind of triggered a memory, so of course I had to look up the first installment to reread. I'm super excited to finish them all! I think this is one of the big ambitious fics that I've been planning to reach for quite some time. Honestly, life is fuckin' crazy right now, so I needed some escapism while i'm working 9pm-5am. Sooooo, here I am with my tears and torn heart.

also, I see your Deathless. I loved Deathless. I could see the inspiration for the twisty words and phrases in the fic, and I adore!

ALSO, this fic's love interest did not turn out the way I thought? I'm a hopeless romantic, but I love that? Sakura becoming stronger and more badass and handling Sasori's death while at work? I do not think I could be as human in my waking hours? Holy shit. Sakura went out and did her job, while considering her future and maintaining her relationships. I loved her relationship with Karin and Ami! Loved it.

I also really liked how Sai became an unlikely ally. And he had a reason! He wanted to get to know Sakura and read more from her. Honestly, I think I read once in a dream and I drew up being told that that means you're going to die, so I panicked for a week waiting for an axe to drop.

Sasori and Pein both vying for Sakura's attention that . . .. that's some a harem right there. Did I mention I am a hopeless romantic? Pein's offer sounded super appealing? Sasori would have been broken and his last words were for Sakura to kiss hiM? I'm dead. I'm dead on desk and the only reason I'm not calling all of my friends rn to tell them that the fic that has been getting me through the week has scarred me is because it's 3 AM and I got two more hours to go, and four more hours till anyone decent is awake.

But, really, honestly, I am in awe of the sheer imagination and care that went into this story. I think it's beautifully crafted, lovingly made, and you gave the characters validation. The bonus scene with Pein and Nageto was lovely, and needed, and made me feel better. They have to move on and be better, but they will always think of her. In strange hours with long silences.

I'm starting the next fic, wish me luck.

Wow. I am so late to the party but this is AMAZING. You had me actually sobbing at Sasori’s death. Not some pretty little tears, no. Like a full on meltdown. And I tell you this as a compliment! I loved loved loved it. And Sai also got to me! He’s not usually my favorite character, but you can really see past his lack of expression in this story to the emotions that he’s feeling. I can’t wait to move onto the next segment!

theres so much that i like, no, love about this fanfic, it's just so original and full of sybolism, i know it's part of a series and I can't wait to read the rest and see how Sakura deals with this whole dreamer business. And the quotes! they fit so well and were so moving (Deathless just got added to my reading list BTW!)

And just all of it. it's all i have ever wanted. Fantasy, 1950 greasers, BAMF Sakura taking no shit, positive female relationships centered around a wholesome and realistic sense of kinship, and with an acute sense of everything not appearing as it seems! Like holy fuck do you know how much i need this in my life! And all the boys being so cute with sakura but her also not taking their shit!

Like 100/10 you just slaughtered the score board in cold blood and it thanked you!

I'm gonna now go and scream at everyone to read this cuz this is some quality gold standard fic!

I first read this series back in 2014 when Kingdom of Beasts just came out, and I remember checking every week to see if a new chapter had been released. Something about this wonderful, frustratingly complex story has made it one of the few fanfictions to actively stick with me through the years. I’ve invested so much time, tears, and raw feeling into it; It’s one of those stories that kinda hangs out in the back of my head and creeps up on me every so often. I’m finally rereading them all the way through, and it’s just as thrilling and capturing as the first time. I really don’t ever review, but this story honestly means so much more to me than I even know how to say. You’re a gem, and I look forward to seeing whatever else you create in the future

Hope u publish this with orginal characters one day. I very much wanna read it, but reading about canon characters in a world that's not at least somewhat similar to their own is just not my thing. But if you ever pull a cassandra and publish this as orginal story novel it derseves to be and I see it in a book store, consider me there for it.

This story is still one of my favorite story of yours. I'm re-reading the Obelisk series again because it was a whirlwind of emotion, drama, feels and character growth. Your stories are AMAZING!

It's been a while since a fanfic captured my attention as yours has. A very good tale and I love the concept of the obelisk and dream realms. Seeing Sasori and the Akatsuki as greasers in the 1950s was perfect and all the SasoSaku moments are my absolute faves. Tears in my eyes at the end, but off to read the next book to hopefully be reacquainted with Sasori again in a different realm. _

I read 'Peridot' a while back and really enjoyed it so I decided to check out the Obelisk series. This was a great read! I love what you're doing with the dream worlds and the setting was neat - not something I've read much before, but you have a knack for creating worlds with all the right details to make them come alive.
I'm really interested in how this series will pan out. Sakura seemed to be having trouble materializing things, and I hope to see more of her powers as the dreamer. I also hope that at the end the actors will be released from the obelisk. I guess I'll have to read the next installment to get closer to some answers.
