I like the originality of the story with the crimes of selling magical items to muggles and the whole Susan/wand.

The main unusual things would be Susan being able to do wandleas magic or magic .with incorrect spell names, and Fleur revealing her veelanesa which I would think is always just there.

That was a pretty good plot and I enjoyed it. There were a few little holes and narrative missteps but the overall plotting was well thought out and that is your strength. I thought trying to make your villain a kinder, gentler villain by showing him caring about the "kids" didn't ring quite true. In the beginning he was introduced as hostile towards Hermione and it might have been better to continue with him in that vein. But he had a rather too-sudden conversion to liking and caring about her that stretched plausibility. They were responsible for killing hundreds of soldiers guarding the weapons and other casualties as well. So...not so nice really. His interest in protecting Hermione and the others seemed unrealistic.

The other hole was the Chinese company who supposedly made the bullet proof robes. At first I thought they had made them but the shipment was stolen, which would make sense, but then later we were told that the company never even existed which made no sense. So who made the cloaks to begin with? Also if Billy was smart enough to be brought into the larger plot, then he would have likely been too smart to fence a cloak to Eddy. Obviously you needed that to happen to get the Weasleys into the story, but it doesn't make sense. The villains wouldn't have wanted anyone to be on their trail for any reason. Perhaps there should have been an earlier conversation with the two main plotters discussing how Billy had gone a bit rogue by trying to make a few bob on the side. They could discuss how risky it had been to trust such a character. It would make more sense to the reader then. Just trying to be helpful in my review. Like I said, I enjoyed reading it. It's a good story and you're a good writer.

I liked how Susan was actually a witch but her parents most likely wanted nothing to do with it. I do hope you continue your post Deathly Hallows world and continue with your ideas. I would like to know how Susan completes her education and how the core group continue on in the post DH world you have created. Good work and awaiting new stories with great anticipation! That was a great chapter. I loved the battle. It was a stroke of genius to keep Susan's abilities to themselves. Susan was great in the fight so was Fleur. I can't wait for the next chapter.
