LOVED it!

I'm in love with this. So much in love and I don't have the words for it.

Well, first that it's canon-compliant is wonderful. I'm not sure what's going on in the manga right now but I see bits and pieces every so often so I'm fairly sure it is. It makes for such great tension and their relationship feels so well explored here. It's subtle and reaching and it makes me all angsty inside.

Second, their friendship is so special. I just enjoy it so much. It really sets the foundation of a great love and they're not even trying to be cute. They just kinda... are. And it makes me so helpless whenever I read about them watching out for the other, testing boundaries and being considerate to each other.

And last, I'm just excited to see where it goes. Piecing their relationship back together is such a pleasure to watch. I'm just in love with how you've portrayed them.

Anyway, I'm being annoying. Thank you for this. I'm so excited for the next chapter. :)

I was scepticle about this at the end of the first chapter, but it turned out really good. I really enjoyed this story. A little confused because I know only little about the Quincy fight, but still.

An omake where Isshin tries to wake them up will be great. anyways, I'm happy that they get back together... thank you for the update!

The first thing I'm going to say is be cautious of amateur translations as not everybody who does unofficial translations knows what they're doing. In one case I saw someone translate something which meant “potential love interest” as “not seeing the person as the opposite sex”. The idea that people don't age in soul society actually stems from a mistranslation in unofficial translations from over five years ago. There are actually quite a few places I've seen translations changed, and in some cases the new translation looks like someone didn't like what was said, and dumped what they would prefer so what's written swings towards their biases – particularly towards stereotypes they've come to believe regarding certain characters.

In this particular case we don't know whose speaking the lines, and when I first read the chapter the line was spoken by Toshiro and read something along the lines, “my life may have been cut down many times, but I'm still thankful to him for saving my life”. I don't know why people decided it had to be Mayuri speaking particularly when the man claims they should be good as new and then acts surprised that Toshiro's actually thanking, except to say it's because people forget Toshiro speaks in a different manner then most people, or because they didn't clue in to the fact Toshiro was referring to the infinite time loop he dealt with. The other reason may have to do with the fact someone wasn't happy Toshiro didn't get killed off.

Sadly the Anime is no longer airing, and it will be over a year until we get an official translation.

The second thing that needs to be said is I love the chapter. There is a lot of depth and emotion to it.

Oh god, I was not expecting an update from this story. I didn't remember following this at all actually, but I'm so glad I did. This was a great ending and although it's been a whole year, it's really nice to read the final chapter.
I guess I really am desperate for this ship, haha. Thank you for this conclusion!

Why haven't you updated this story? I absolutely love it and have waited a while to see if you would update it. I hope to read more.

I just had to say how much I love this idea. The intentions are so good and pure but the result is horrible and I'm eating it up. Your writing style is so pretty too so it makes it even better. It's just so wonderful. :)))
