I just love how you word things. Its so deep and captures the mood so perfectly. Why aren't you writing novels?

I love this. You really use poetic language in here, with lots of nice imagery. I also really love how it goes from all super-serious to lighthearted with the closing sentence.

I only have one thing that I'd like to point out that you use "parish," which is incorrect. Parish has to do with churches (or, Louisiana has parishes instead of counties), whereas perish means to die. You gotta love those pesky homophones, right? :)
