Despite AU, this would have been a much better rapprochement for Lisbon and Jane than the miserable Pike arc. So happy to have tripped over the final chapter to this story (obviously forgot to "follow" it). Your interpersonal sensibilities and writing are lovely.

I just wanted to tell you how much I've enjoyed this fic. It's well written, the characters are recognizable and you explore the "what if" in a very satisfying way. I hope you'll eventually continue the story and continue to write more in this you for sharing your writing!

This was a superb piece of fanfiction. I can't believe it's over! Could you be persuaded to post an epilogue of sorts? This story has felt so in character, it's addictive. Emotional, brave, sad and even sweet. I love how Lisbon is actually angry, and not letting go of what Jane did as easily as others may have portray her doing. And Jane is genuinely trying, without completely letting go of his glib personality.
