I mean come on just one ducking day?! and you explain your whole abilities and funding secret! that's why I hate some fanfic tons where the mc is godlike but yeah they are so stupid that they trust easily everyone and explain their abilities sometimes even in their funding Enemies!

Bummer, and as for experience, no one, even in Fiore, has much experience with all kinds of magic. I mean magic most of the time when we see it around is unique with the stronger characters, having experience with that is near impossible. All the experience you need is fighting experience and instinct in general, knowledge helps, but you can't possibly have experience against all kinds of magic and prepare beforehand.
This was just unlucky and a result of Ichigo holding back rather than a lack of experience, otherwise Natsu would have never been able to survive as long as he did.
