Yes, and I'm sure Lily thinks it's all Sev's fault that he and the Marauders aren't friends. Just because one of them tried to kill Snape, doesn't regret it, and James torments Snivelly 'because he exists'-yes, it has to be Snape's fault, or why Lily dumped him.
