Simons story has been one of the most addicting for me to read. I am saddened that I won’t seem to be getting a conclusion for it, but being a fellow adult I can understand the lack of time you would have been able to put into this. Good luck with future endeavors.

not bad at all, though I'm not gonna lie, was a little disappointed at first. Going to this after reading Team AMBR: Finding Redemption, was diferent. But the author gave you high praise, and i am now starting to really appreciate your style. Keep up the good work dude. lovin the story

Holy crap am I sorry for not reviewing earlier. So busy with finals that when I finished them, I straight up just played Battlefield 1 for about two days. This chapter was amazing. Loved each battle scene and how Simon changed

Figured I could bring some lightheartedness after a pretty dark chapter in my review. (Basically Cinema Sins, meant to be funny.)

"So much wasted life though… why would someone do this?"

I could almost cut the tension with a knife: 4 former Fist, 1 former Fang, Hunters, Soldiers, guns-for-hire, VI Ciphers.

My response: now all we need is a Grey Mask and we're playing five bullet Roulete.

Laura's response to the Headhunters. "Really? You call cold blooded murder, mutilation of fallen enemies, execution of prisoners, and murder of civilians necessary? You call us savages. I'm an assassin, and I still think that's excessive. Secession is sounding more and more justified by the day."

My response to the Colonel's insignia. "Wait, the insignia for a colonel is an eagle." *one Google search later* "Aussie rank insignia looks better than ours."

"From here on out we're trying to minimise civilian casualties and minimise infrastructure damage." Shouldn't that be your top priority in case of a Grimm attack? This plan seems flawed if the first stage involves boning your ability to sustain self sufficiency.

"we've had several SOS calls from secure areas of the Mall such as bank vaults" Aren't bank vaults airtight?

"I've failed my team once before for not being there when they needed me, they got hurt for it. I'm not making that mistake twice."

Laura: "No, your team was hurt because you didn't kill Levi before he had the opportunity to do more damage. I highly doubt anyone else in that safehouse would've attacked three Beacon students in broad daylight. Grow a pair and take some responsibility."

I've accomplished what I signed on to do with VI- than why are you still working for them?

"If you ever got a mission that involves going after Lachlan count me in."
Laura- "Isn't pointless revenge and sadistic impulse what got you in this mess?"

"Keeper may not like having one less hunter class asset at his disposal"- This asshole brags about having the whole Valen military at his disposal, if that's the case why would he are about one guy?

stomping off to make some poor White Fang suffer is anger fuelled wrath.- Jesus, learn some restraint and you'd have a better reputation.

Laura: As far as I'm concerned your skewed priorities, lack of responsibility, and conficts of interest did that already.

Hope you got a laugh or two out of that. On to the actual review.

As much as I like how the breach is moving along this chapter had a few technical problems. The biggest one is how you're presenting character and plot information. You're front loading a lot of info that is either irrelevant or should be used later. When you mentioned that Robin tended to go berserk on Grimm it just made the section predictable and boring, along with destroying any sympathy I otherwise would've had for the character. Same thing with Pyro, I doubt many people would've noticed that the rest of PEPR wasn't there with everyone else running around. Also, Oobleck should've waited to tell Simon he was being reported until after the Breach was over, as to avoid any emotional turmoil that would draw Grimm.

It also felt a bit false that the VI people were condoning outright murder, and than saying that all Valen soldiers aspired to be one of them. Makes the military people look like psychopaths. You also implied that Simon wouldn't regret a damn thing (killing the VI lieutenant) if his teammates and friends weren't there to see it and guilt trip him. If that's the case he's quite the sadist. Not sure if that's the point but it's worth mentioning.

Wait, Keeper threatened the guy who just picked up part of a suspension bridge weighting several tonnes. He either has titanium balls or doesn't know who exactly he's dealing with.

Remind me again why people, who write fanfics pertaining to Winter being YOUNGER than WEISS!? I mean, come on, we can SEE Winter being completely older than Weiss. This is why I'm put-off on fanfics where they speculate the life of a character then the show shows them otherwise and blows all the hard work they've done
