This is the first "Mingzan" story I've read, and it's really good! I'm not sure whether using the F-word merits a T or M rating, but it seems in-character for Ghazan and Ming-Hua to use them even in their thoughts.

Today I did find your fanfiction on Arfadia and I read it over and over again. Luckily, I did find it now on this site and am finally able to review it properly :)
First of all: I am always looking for new Mingzan fanfictions and it was more than nice to see another one especially since yours immediately count to my favourite ones by now!

Like I said; I did read this one over and over again.
It was just so suitable for the characters with just the right amount of profoundness.
I was actually slightly indignant that you referred to Ming-Hua as a "wandering corpse". But the more I read the more I came to think that this was just a very thoughtful idea of yours. Of course, there are many ways to be beautiful and of course the fact of having arms made Ming-Hua not only complete but also content and thereby beautiful in her own way. Not to forget about the years of imprisonment. You did make the circumstances under which she lost her beauty very vivid and remarkable as well as the fact that she still remains beautiful for Ghazan in his own way.
Ghazan. Mhm. Honestly, when I did spot this fanfiction, I had to scroll down to make sure that this one is truly about Mingzan, my new OTP. I was a bit hard to decipher this on first glance especially since you only use indirect speech and tend to refer to the characters as "he" and "she" - a fact I wasn't used to at all (it was quite unusual, in fact) but on the other hand it is a very varying, interesting idea I become accustomed to.
Truth be told, I really adore your writing style; how you do connect all those little details from the show with own ideas and thereby create a whole smashing story.
It is indeed very impressive how you portrayed their respective character traits ever so suitable and describe their romance without sounding to cheesy so that it fit their characters overall.
All those little details, like the fact that Ming-Hua loves Ghazan's unique scent, that Ming-Hua never wants to be warm again, that Ghazan made her feel warm in a way more pleasant way and that he calls the stars his own ... All those details were so lovely hints at their customs and their persons itself that I am more than content I did find this one!
Furthermore, I like the way how you do create such a nice atmosphere by using metaphors and similiarities, like the one where it is said that if Ming-Hua's facial features were actually made of stone, Ghazan would bend them forever just to make her smile and live. I was all like "Aawww" there ;)
In addition to that, I also find it very fitting how you do make Ghazan a "people person" ... at least in regard to Ming-Hua. Overall, you have given Ghazan the depth he lacks in the originals series. All this courtesy, this small gestures ... It was really sweet :)
Despite being all the "evil, badass guys", you've portrayed them in here just as I would have liked them to be in the series (in extra long scenes, that is ;)): Wayward, caring and overall "real". They don't euphemize things but they try to make the best out of them.
In this case, it was more than appropriate to have them rolling on the floor like children, fighting, playing and finally ... kissing. Awww :)
Don't get me wrong: I do see them to some degree as "bad guys" but in the end they are my favourite villains forever; all moody and powerful and earnest ... I couldn't have imagined a better scene than the snow-rolling scene to express their feelings towards each other more properly!
You can imagine my devastation after the finale and concerning that it is even more wonderful to find this beautiful written fanfiction of yours! Mingzan rules!
I do really hope with all my heart that you'll write more concerning this pairing! I would be more than thrilled!
