Personally, i'm glad you didn't mention a suicide attempt. I'm sure they skipped it in the anime, but in the manga Marik was already suicidal. The whole point of him taking back his body at the last moment from his alter ego was to show that Marik had decided to live. To have him be suicidal post canon (at least imo) would undo all the character development he had in Battle City. But this is all me rambling, it was a cute one-shot.
