I saw this fic in a tumblr post of good soma fics and realized once I started it that I had read it before and loved it. I reread it and loved it all over again. Great job on the writing and the characterization- I can totally see Soul as a grumpy-looking video store clerk, and as warm on the inside as he seems cold on the outside. I also really liked how Maka kept putting off picking her phone up. I could see her as punctual and careful, but also willing to procrastinate and put something off because it's convenient for her, in this case to keep talking to her new friend. This fic was adorable, especially the ending, and I really enjoyed it. Great job!

I liked the whole 'i lost my phone but don't wanna lose the conversations' ordeal, and if it wasn't for the phone, they would never have talked to one another. This was very cute ~~

omg this was really cute. i really like how well you developed maka and soul's relationship throughout the story, and it was really cute and sweet to read their interactions. my only criticism is that i recommend condensing the writing some more because i felt like if you didn't directly state some of the characters' feelings, it would've made the story better. still, this story was really really cute and enjoyable as a whole. great job, jak!
