| plays on words chapter 2 . 9/29/2014 Is it just me, or is this piece mis-labelled? It doesn't feel complete - in fact, it feels like you're just getting started! Unless, the purpose was to centre in on their meeting, and to leave the rest up to the reader? In which case, I would say clever idea, but it would work better if you concentrated more on each of their days leading up to their actual meeting and use more suggestion than powerful attraction to create the sense of 'future,' if that makes any sense. That would also alleviate some of the misfires on their characterisation (I can't see Killian ever struggling to find his words, sorry). Glad to see you've come back to writing, though, especially after such a long hiatus - I believe other reviewers have mentioned this already, but to an extent, it never really leaves you, like riding a bike or driving a car. Hope you keep it up! It's such a great release. Good start, though - could be better, but definitely not bad. And an interesting take in either case. Hope this helps a bit x |

| Reader chapter 2 . 9/26/2014 Since I always felt real Milah would've ended up abandoning Killian, too, especially if he ever wanted to change his lifestyle up a bit, this felt very appropriate. Also, it was entertaining to see this from his viewpoint. So much for the oh I'm confident bugger appearance he maintains. Now I kind of want to see the book exchange, haha. Thanks for sharing. |
