I am really enjoying this story. And tbh the circle resembles the Mafia on a way, so this is a fitting plot line

Ok, here is my suggestion. Ask yourself a few simple questions to get the inspiration rolling.
1. How do you picture the ending of this story?
2. At what point in their life do you want Clary to be at? (bittersweet, happy, getting back to normal life, moving on.) When you end the story.
3. How fast do you want Clary and Jace's relationship to progress? Are you going to build up their relationship with cute, funny, and heartfelt moments? Or, are you going to have it all happen within one update. I personally wouldn't rush it, instead of building up their relationship first.
4. How do you want their relationship to progress? (What kind of moments do you want to include. You could do moments when they just talk about stupid things for hours. Laugh about how Jace is scared of ducks. Clary could be scared of rainstorms and Jace comforts her. How do you want to build their relationship up, how you want them to bond.
5. Are you going to add other characters in the story? And if so, when do you want them to appear? There are tons of iconic shadowhunters characters that we all know and love. Magnus, Alec, Izzy, Simon, Mia, Jordan. How are you going to incorporate them to fit into the Mafia lifestyle?
6. How do you want each character to change throughout the story? An obvious example would be Clary. She starts off as a young girl, who can not defend herself, and is emotionally weak. Throughout the story, she embraces the change and learns to defend herself and becomes educated with her enemies. How do you want her to have changed by the end of the story?
7. How long is she going to be away? How long are you going to give her to build a relationship with Jace, and learn to fight? Think about it. If she was away for only a month, could she a master of kung fu with that amount time? Whereas if she were away for seven months or take two years. She would have plenty of time to bond with Jace and visibly change.

Just some things you could think about while writing this story.

Liking the story so far it has an interesting plot that's original, that alone has my interest peaked. You write very well and explain clarys p.o.v to the tiniest detail. Also can't wait to see if you put any other characters p.o.v just to see from others perspective on what's going on. Please keep updating and possibly make chapters a bit longer.
