I'll be completely honest. I went into this with a bit of hesitance, because I wasn't so sure about how I felt toward an "officer Maki." I didn't think that was within her character. And yet, upon reading this (and as someone else had said, I believe), I was engrossed enough in it to find it completely natural for her. So, obviously, congratulations on that lovely little feat! That isn't so easily done, y'know.

Secondly, I did stop by your profile and noticed that this is the only story (in general) that you've written. I was so shocked! You write so well, much better than a lot of people on here (and to get that impression from a single one-shot, damn!) and I would've assumed you had a lot more stuff. You're quite talented, so kudos to you! I don't know how good you may be with plot or, perhaps, creating a story, but you've definitely got the skilled potential to write something pretty phenomenal on here.
