I really liked this story...at the beginning. Don't get me wrong, I plan on sticking around to see if the plot moves out the direction it's heading in. It's just getting generically cliched. I can already see all the awkward done to death misunderstandings. it's like you're trying to throw in every yaoi cliche into your plot bag, shaking it up, then throwing them together to create a story. Just be mindful of all the plot points you have going on and that they need to be tied up in a believable, but unique and original.

Firstly, I'm assuming this IS a CLEON fic, right? If it isn't then I'm in the wrong neighbourhood...

Secondly, I thought there was a good balance of humour and drama going on in this chapter. I feel sorry for Marluxia, he looks as though he needs more friends, and the fact that he and Cloud was getting on so well was great. Pity Leon's hostility drove them apart though. I can understand Leon is looking out for Cloud, but it made me sad that Cloud had to chose between Marluxia and Leon.

Finally, what is with Leon? Is he jealous, possessive or protective of Cloud? If I didn't know better, I'd say he's in denial. I suppose him being straight and Cloud being straight makes it hard for him to feel anything for Cloud, but the vibes he gives off tend to say otherwise.

Anyways, look forward to see what happens next.

Secondly, it was sweet that Cloud and Marluxia got on with each other, but a pity Leon's hostility drove them apart. I can understand why Leon resents Marluxia, but I think it's up to Cloud to decide whom he befriends in the end.

Finally, I can't help but feel that Leon is attracted to Cloud, but because of him and Cloud being straight he's dismissed the possibilities, being too afraid to explore further. That's why he seems to be drawn to Namine - because she is similar to Cloud. Furthermore, he acts all protective (and possessive) around Cloud. It'll be interesting to see his reaction when he's connected the dots and realise what it means.

Anyway, a good chapter with the right balance of humour and drama. I look forward to more of Leon and Cloud's mall "date".
