In her own unique way, Lily is just as scary as Rabbit. And that thought terrifies me.

Oh no this is very relevant.

But so sweet! I love that they just start sort of bickering and enjoying each other's company, it's lovely. But bittersweet, I mean hanging out isn't the same when you can't build a world to fit your mood for the occasion, sleeping isn't the same for that matter when your dreams are empty... will Lily even dream now?

Ever further down the sadness road, "As if Lily was more than a place he was simply residing at the moment", I get that it's hard to try and analyse someone's feelings when they're living in your head and would chew you out for trying, but still, there shouldn't be any doubt there, not after six years. But she does have a point - where will she be? I can't imagine Lenin would cut her out, but pen pals or even daily tea dates could never compare to the intimacy they've had.

This fic is practically fluffy, they're so cute and hanging out and even in her reflections there's this feeling of peace and serenity (or maybe I'm very selectively reading), yet all the associations bring sadness. Damnit.

Yes, things did get a little serious. I think this side story is an excellent example of her living the absurd life. She acknowledge the meaninglessness of her actions but ascribes personal value to certain aspects like Lenin and death. Though, she avoids addressing such ascribed value directly keeping up the comfort of the routine, and it's there she is still developing.

Surprisingly heart warming and sad at the same time.

Maybe when he gets his body back they will still have some sort of telepathic bond and have conversations in her head even afterwards... it would mean that she wouldn't really lose the voice in her head and Lenin wouldn't just disappear for long periods of time... I hope something like this happens because Lily without Lenin at least a bit in her head wouldn't be Lily...
