He needs to reassure himself that she's alive, he didn't lose her. And Emma accepting his affection and returning it herself...It really shows how far she's come in regards to him. And all her family, really. And I love how Emma thinks for the first time about what it would do to him if he lost her. |

It's truly touching how Emma realizes through the course of the evening how very loved she is and that none of them - Henry, her parents, and especially Killian - want to leave her. The way she allows herself to hold onto his physical contact in a way she never has with anyone else, was a lovely touch. Even when she wakes the next morning, she still doesn't move away. Just wonderful! |
