 PapaKench chapter 5 . 11/9/2019 My first review of the story; I've only read up to chapter five, but the story so far seems consistent enough for me to want to finish reading (unlike my last read Draven Highschool, fuck that shitty Sonic High clone.) My reviews won't go into much depth at all, since this is supposedly your first work, and I'm confident in saying that you've most likely improved vastly over the years (and if I really wanted you to see this I would be revirwing your latest work.) Because of this, I will moreso just be sharing my thoughts and feelings on the read, whilr pushing my urges to nitpick and critique away. I really enjoy your interpretation of the league, and even though it's outdated, your take on it is just so much better and far more interesting than what other readers do, where they either blindly follow the lore or incorporate a "real life" where the story is conciously aware it's a video games. (both of these can be very entertaining still if executed well but I don't find them as creative.) I've found the characters and their personalities nice so far, and the smex scene was ok, though uncalled for. I could start rambling on about the grammer and such, but it's pointless here, and I'm not even in the mood. I'll be back for my second review soon. Yours truly, PapaKench |
