Unfortunately, it looks like your version of McGee is a total moron. In fact, he sounds more like a petulant schoolboy than a 36 year old federal agent. He would never talk to Gibbs like that, as he has too much respect for the man, not to mention fear of his temper.

Seeing as McGee left Annette because she was abusing him, why on earth would Gibbs think that McGee could persuade the woman to hand herself in? She is more likely to attack him and possibly even hurt him. Quite honestly, the best thing that Tim could do, since he is barred from working the case, is to go home and take Scarlet with him.

This would be AWESOME if you made it McGiva. Ziva and Tim really work well together

Based on one the reviews I searched other ncis stories, and whi,e I found two named Tony's daughter they seemed pretty different from this one, to me this didn't appear to be a rip off of one of those.

Just a FYI we don't use pounds or the Euro in America we use dollars so when using dollar figures you want to use the $ sign.

Good chapter. Just a note - you are using English currency in your story. You need to convert it to American dollars.

Interesting start, but McGee isn't the newcomer to the team, Ziva is. McGee had already been in the MCRT for at least a year by the time Ziva joined them. Tim actually outranks Ziva.

I always find it hysterical that Gibbs knows so little about his team members because he can't be bothered to read their personal files, something a manager should always do.

I was a bit worried when you had McGee saying that he'd abandoned his child when she was only a baby, as it doesn't sound like the sort of thing he would do. Thankfully it was explained when he told Gibbs that he left because he was being abused by the child's mother. It'll be interesting to see where you go with this. I just hope it doesn't turn into a McAbby.
