That was hell of a trip, I wonder if anybody got worried about them, or suspicious...

What a great way of transporting us to the wild mountains and giving a lesson of how to survive them. Really, it felt real. Congrats to both Dipper and Wendy for being such amazing campers, and for surviving. I think they will cherish the expirience forever, or at least until they have another dangerous adventure. Nah, they'll never forget it, but they will still get into more trouble.

Thanks for this, pal! Kind of sad because it ended, but really pleased anyway.

And then a bunch of Vampires from "30 Days of Night" came outta nowhere and ate their throats. XD

Engrossing chapter. I could feel the near dispair and then the elation when they reached the campsite. I particularly enjoyed Dipper's rescue of Wendy after she had fallen on the rock climb. It was realistic and had me rooting for them.

Is "face planted" a typo?

What a great conclusion! It was so satisfying to see them driving away from the mountains as the sun set. That image was wonderful. I enjoyed the final moments of suspense with Wendy hanging off the cliff- she and Dip became such a great team! I seriously can't wait for your next fanfic. You have their character dynamics nailed down and that will be so important for a shippy story. I know it'll be great. Anyways, wonderful work, I'm sorry to see it end. :)

Great chapter! The only thing Wendy would have had to do before cooking the rabbit was skinning it though - I don't imagine they'd want to eat fur or anything. Regardless, nice update. Dipper is so insecure with his failure as usual, and I like the fact that Wendy doesn't just want to sit and wait. I think I'd be the same way! Nicely done!

Aw, Wendy staying to set up the fire while brave Dipper goes into the wilderness to hunt. They look just like a couple. At least that is until Dip fails and Wendy shows why she is allowed to carry an axe with her. This is Gravity Falls after all.
So, the next chapter will be the last one? Well, it was nice anyway. They survived and made cool things. There was even time for some of Dipper's feelings.
