This is such a fun, sweet chapter but I can't help but be wary of it. The way you narrate the story, the way Homura is always on the brink of a breakdown even after she JUST had one That ending, endearing as it was, unsettled me. Something in the back of my mind is nagging me to not keep my guard down. And I kept thinking that something WILL go very wrong somewhere. Have Madoka Magica really traumatized me this much? Or is Homura's paranoia that contagious? We'll never know. Ahh.. I see this chapter and think to myself, hey... there ARE silver linings. I've long since given up hope that this will ever be updated, and yet here we are! Thank you.

Nice to see the second part of the date. It was cute and somewhat touching.

Love-Love Delicious Beam! Seriously adorable, but given everything thing that came before this I can't help asking myself, is it really going to be ok? I suppose Homura is the only one who could answer that question. Oh my hell, thank goodness Kyouko and Sayaka came along on this mad date, providing a constant source of amusement! The tension might have been a little too great if they weren't there to help distract Homura from her thoughts and keep her in the moment. They way she obsessively prepares her fry to feed Madoka kinda sums this up. Otherwise things might have gone all - Wham... Oldsmobile right through the wall!
So the next chapter is going to be some sort of retrospective? Sounds interesting!

Found this last night and read through all 6 chapters in one go, and I must say I enjoyed the read and was a bit sad to see ch 6 end right there and realize there is no ch 7. While it seems unlikely due to how long ago this was written, I hope one day to see this continue.

Alright alright im commenting im commenting! Ayaya I've come back to read and re-read this so many times I love it so much. It's such a good post-rebellion story and your Homura voice is SO GOOD! Just everyone's voices are so on point and and! The implications that Junko told Homura off strikes me so much! In such a good way! Like it makes so much sense even tho I would love nothing more than for those two to get along and stuff ya know? Like duuude I just love the scenes you have set its SO GOOD
