Wow, just...wow. A friend recommended your fic to me, and I gotta say, I'm certainly not regretting checking it up. This may be one of the best missing-nin fanfics I've read.

I love the way you portrayed everybody, especially Kakashi. They were beautifully in character.

hmmm...i though about why kakashi left konoha, and of course the first thing i thought of was -it's danzos fault. that would doubly fit with kakashi hating having to hurt children in that world.
and i guess it would be interesting to read how inoichi would view the situation and of course i thought about team 7 as missingnin team.
had to laugh how they ignored everybody to call kakashi sensei.

I love this story. I honestly love it. I have read all the adaptions, but this one is still my favorite. I read it for the first time last year here on and then three times on AO3 and here I am again for a fifth read- through... I desperately hope the muse for this fic will visit you again.
Shikaku puzzeling about it with Inoichi, Kakashi having other missions and running into Konoha Shinobi, obviously the Chuunin exams, maybe the Sandaime contacting him directly with Summons, though that's a bit unrealistic or maybe just Team 7 becoming a real team... There are so many possibilities 3

I really like this story but it's sad it's done. I loved the interactions with his genin team. They totally respect him, you can see the little changes in attitude that will make them a stronger, more focused team, and you see so clearly how much he really yearns to be their sensi. The continuation by hermione90 is really good and fun to read but that relationship with the kids is missing. Leaves a big hole and it's sad for Kakashi. If you ever continue this story I would love to read it.

This was such a well-written story. Kakashi is super protective over his old team and it was heart-warming to read that he was steering them down the right path.

I just kind of feel bad for Kakashi because he's still stuck in this timeline and he's alone.

I love this so much. The relationship between all members of Team 7 is both endearing and a bit bittersweet. Something about this story is just so compelling. Thank you for sharing.

Still so awesome, no matter how often I read it. I still laugh every time when Kakashi leaves for wave and hopes the bridge gets named after him and how Naruto, if he knew, would accuse him of cheating.

I would like to see more consequences for Nakamura sensei for not running straight back but actually sleeping overnight, for neglect etc. and I love Kakashi bemusement at his reputation for loving kids and him messing with iruka. I am curious what would happen during the exams. Would he interfere in the forest? recruit itachi to protect sasuke and get rid of Orochimaru? or maybe interfere with Sand and replacing the kazekage or Gaara seal? Or with the new hokage? or Sarutobi death? or get rid of Danzo?

I would love for Team 7 to talk to the other genin and see Shikamaru befuddlement at the situation as well when they, even sensible Sakura, and reticent Sasuke, declare a nuke bin their sensei over his dad. Maybe ino finds out through sakura? or maybe an all team meet?

I know it's been years, but I just need to say, this story is phenomenal. The concept is delightful and the directions you've taken it in are incredible. I definitely enjoyed reading it, and though I will expect nothing I will absolutely follow it, just in case creativity suddenly strikes.
