This has got to be one of the best Worm fanfics I’ve ever read. Too bad it’s unfinished. Listing all the things about the story that are awesome would take way too long so I’ll just mention the few things I didn’t like.

1) Jalopy is OP. Nuff said
2) The fact that Tether can create so many of her lines at once makes her really powerful in terms of the blunt trauma she can inflict. When she first got her power, I thought there would be a limitation that she could only push/pull one line at once, and that she would have to practice a lot making lots of quick changes in momentum of different things using different lines to compensate.
3) I seriously doubt a matchup between Faultline’s Crew and the Siberian on Manton’s home turf would end completely in Faultline’s favor, even with surprise on their side. Newter might be mobile enough to evade Sib but everyone else would have to rely on Murk to keep their game of keepaway going.
4) Aisha’s second trigger power is OP. All she has to do is double tap everyone at the initial meeting for the next Endbringer battle and she will have access to a bunch of new powers when the battle is over. If she practices switching powers quickly during combat, she is now the most powerful cape in Brockton Bay, excluding Pandora and Contessa.

Just read this for the fourth time now. Shame it hasn't finished but still one of my favorites.

Ugh, Madison's banter. I get that she's new, but unless she wants to advertise that, she should probably work a little harder on her Spider-Man impression.
Still, seeing the cheesy lines turned against an increasingly confused/irate Shadow Stalker was oddly satisfying.

I have enjoyed your work. You manage to make it as dark as the original worm, while giving it so much more hope. I see that you have not updated in almost 4 years, so i will assume that this is discontinued, but i appreciate what you have written

Cute story idea but god damn is that power OP.

A. Why doesn't she use it on people?

B. Why not just smash lung with cars and trains and whatever else there is? Mads could just attach lines to the ground under a target, give a massive tug, and launch anything at them. Bonus points if she launches whatever it is in the air first.

Bugger. They really need to put "Don't get too into this, it doesn't have an ending" warnings up. :-/

Of course she wouldn't be happy with an off-the-books operation like this one. But the fact remains, doing it off-the-books was literally the only way to capture Coil and shut down his plans.

This story is amazing. It's such a shame that you seem to have dropped it for some time now. I just wish I knew how you meant to deal with scion here before you stopped writing this.

This is one the best stories i have read and i have thoroughly enjoyed reading this piece of work over the last week or two(would have been quicker but work) and just reading it any chance i could get.

The characterisation is beautiful, natural and so flowing that this seems such a real progression if this is what really happened in worm.

The cliffhangers that you have now left at the end of this chapter has made me gasp and curse because it is so huge and a shock. I am sad that it seems like you have left this amazing story because i know that others and myself would love to see this great story updated.

I shall follow and favourite this story along with favouriting you also in hope that in time you will update this wonderful and compelling story.

Oh fuck. Blur is going to somehow stop Lisette from giving money to Kevin, so Kevin doesn't pass on his (ownership?) of Scion to her, and Scion's gonna rampage when Kevin dies of his illness.

Moral of the story. Give money to random homeless people, or else the world is going to end.

I'm going to stop reading at this point since your story continues to grate at me. The problem for me is that while redemption is well and good the story treats it so cheaply that it doesn't feel earned. I would completely believe it if it turns out that there was a powerful Master going about changing people's personalities without anyone knowing.
