Okay, SO.

I had this extremely irritating habit a few years back where I would read a fic I would absolutely LOVE and then NOT LEAVE A REVIEW. Don’t ask me why, because I honestly have no clue. This exact one-shot is one of those stories I adored, and yet – no review! No favorite! I am trying to remedy that now.

Though its several years overdue, just know that I really love this one in particular. Angry Jimmy has always fascinated me, and I think that’s largely because he’s usually so…forgiving? Patient? I’m re-watching the series and it struck me how much of Cindy’s crap he puts up with (but I love her too, lol). This was a depressing and beautiful twist, and I love how you ended it. It wasn’t OOC at all, and I honestly wanted to cry along with Cindy. It’s crazy to think how a single action could so alter the course of fate. It’s been a favorite plot line of mine for awhile.

Anyway, I adored this very much. Added to my favorites!

I think I would've liked to see this in a slightly longer form, and with a different kind of ending. But- I do really love the idea of examining just how important Goddard is to Jimmy. It's kind of neglected in a lot of fanfiction stories, but Goddard was always portrayed as being Jimmy's closest confidant.
I think I would've liked to see a little more of Jimmy's greiving- but since this is mostly from Cindy's perspective, I can understand why that'd be omitted.
I'm not sure if that'd be the way these characters really reacted to this situation, either- I imagine that Cindy would probably be in denial, and that it would make Jimmy kind of shut down- and thus have a lot less of a heated reaction to Cindy. But, that would probably just be how I'd do it... And in your own defence, Jimmy does tend to get a hundred times more angry about anything whenever Cindy is involved, so it makes sense...
Maybe I would've liked to see them fight it out a little harder. Maybe more yelling. It is Jimmy and Cindy after all.
All in all, it's definately an affective slice of tragedy pie. ... Wow- that's a horrible analogy.
