Heehee... Someone else perfectly encapsulated this with "my dad could beat up your dad." This did feels bit petty, but still well written and enjoyable. Love the writing, and yes, Miracle Man could beat up Hillboy. They both kick the ass though.

Yknow writing from someone elses perspective really helps the reader understand what other characters are thinking. Good job!

The problem with GB's version of Shirou, is that he's too human in a lot of scenarios. For all the magic mages can use in the Zero-verse, their physical abilities are still within the range of normal humans. And Shirou with his absolutely broken reinforcement is a few notches above that.

Kills 5000 mages/creatures Loses/barely wins spar with normal, if quite skilled female knight. I can't remember exactly how the fight ended.

Still, this was a bit demeaning to that version of Shirou. If I remember right, he's much closer in personality to Archer than most Shirou's, hell GB has a habit of him living the life of an asura. Him being taken off guard so easily is a bit hard to believe, granted the end result would mostly be the same.

Still, D-rank is 20 times that of the average human. Which, I believe is a bit out of Shirou's range with reinforcement alone. Either way, if he could reach D-rank that means he'd be 20 times the average running speed of a human which is 15 mph, meaning he'd have a speed of 300 mph. Not bad.

Great chapter.

Its an iteresting change to see things from a perspective other than Shirou's or Louise. Not many other stories do that.
In anycase, though short, it was a good chapter.

It makes me wonder if this Shirou with help reviel the girls Element and Origins.

Questions:
Maybe I'm just reading it wrong, but I had a bit of trouble understanding your Author's Note. It didn't seem clear to me.
Could you CLEARLY write out the name of the story's and the names of their writers?

The ONLY reason that I know who "GB" is is because I just finished reading HILL OF SWORDS and made a not on it. Also, in this instence it should be "gb" instead of "GB" since "gabriel blessing" didn't capitalize their name. So really, its best to just spell it all out clearly rathere than to just expect readers to all know what your talking about.

I tried looking up "MIRACLE OF ZERO" but couldn't find it, and since you didn't CLEARLY indicate the author's name I couldn't look it up that way either.
When I did the search the closest story name I found was for a story called:
MIRACLE OF ZERO: KINGDOM OF THE FORSAKEN by James D. Fawkes
Considering that lots of stories on this site have similar names and this isn't an Author you mentioned, I have no way to know if this is the other story that you were refering to.

I'm alway's on the look out for good reads, so when a talented writer mentions other stories and gives the impression that those stories are good, I want to look them up.
So in the future, please be clear in what your refrencing. Thats my only story critique for what you've got here.

Wow! Having read this, I had two thoughts:

1- GB is so prolific he's head-canon, so what? If readers place his story on a pedestal, again, so what? What is this 'we' business? I'm perfectly satisfied with my idolatry. No, to begin with, replacing it with something like this would be...

2- My Dad could tots beat up ur Dad - can still be brandished like a meaningful argument after primary. Who knew? Internet has learned me sumthin. My Dad was OBVIOUSLY such a bruiser in my imagination. eheh~ OBVIOUSLY when I brought other people's Dad's into my imagination they got roflstomped, too. I was 'duper cool. So wus me Dad, k? No take-backs.

I've already posted what I thought about the Kirche one-shot in the forum, so I won't bother repeating myself.

And I know you didn't intend the "Wrong Way to Paradise" (I love that title, by the way) omake as a slight against GB, but I confess, there was a small part of me that was pointing and cackling like the Wicked Witch of the West at HoS!Shirou's death by cannonball.

Was a bit surprised that formerly's Shirou managed to survive, though.
