sweet...and not really unusual...my own daughter, at 16, took up with a man of 32...and they're still together 7 years later. So this isn't as weird or improbable as it might seem to some.

Chapter 4: There a few lines I really liked in here! (I liked the chapter overall a lot too.) For instance, when Sam says the thing about her standart Christmas order (I like the idea of standart Christmas orders, though I find it hard to picture teenage Sam still wishing for a horse..(Future-me thinks: After reading to the end, I think it makes more sense.)), I also liked the comment about her being more of the responsible adult influence (that I can picture well..(At this point)) and many more (But this is a review not a summary).
Though after four chapters I still have a little trouble picturing young Sam since her characterization changes a lot when shes a teenager and not an airforce officer with a doctors degree... Jack, though, is easier to imagine as a younger version of himself.
Chapter 6: Id really like to find more words to review but I spend to much time giggling.
I like to think about the skipping-straight-to-the-pie-thing; I think the timeline-changes might do that for the two of them..
Chapter 7: I like your version of Jacob back then. I think this is a lot how he must have been back then.
Chapter 8: I hope Jacob will not stop Sam and Jack but I think from his perspective as a parent his concerns are very resonable...
Chapter 9: Up and down... I was fearing for something to go wrong, some chlishée misunderstanding and then it seemed fine and fearful again and so on. Im glad you did not go with the chlishée too much (so far).
Chapter 13: Yes, angsty... But also making sense. Its the sensitive thing to do. Its Sam and Jack so we might think that they belonged with each other but shes 17 here and he is so much older. When ones 17 thats a livetime. Also, they have this weird power balance that just would not be okay at all (And likely end any relationship real bad). Im looking forward to reading your sequel (when Sam is presumably more "all grown up").

Nice job. I'm glad it ended the way it did. However whenever they meet again Sam may be pretty resistant to exposing her heart again to Jack...I would imagine. Jack's gonna have to work to get closer to Sam in the future. Looking forward to more.
