as for cyberware, why Shadowrun instead of one of the older Deus Ex games? their rings of regeneration would deal with any rejection problems.

also, as far as final fantasy goes, you need to drop them off in War of the Lions to abuse the hell out of the class system there. and on a related note to FF, Legend of Dragoon. steal some dragoon spirits, heh. also a shitload of their attack items.

so, while i have no problem them robbing Vernon, the guy's an asshole, i do find the amount of cash he had on him to be unrealistic. at best, the durselys are upper middle class. and, going by my aunt and her friends, even people who do have that kind of cash lying around don't just carry it on them, for the most part.

as for them taking out death eaters, too bad it'd be too dangerous to try going to azkaban, because other than Lucius and Barty jr, that's where his worst and most dangerous followers are.

and i kind of doubt that everyone who shops at Borgin and Burke's is an evil scum bag who needs to die.

...going into ANY version of Warhammer strikes me as an extremely bad idea that only someone with absolutely no survival instincts would even contemplate doing. likewise with any zombie apocalypse world. and the radiation would be a problem for Fallout, even with the rings of regeneration.

I've read this before, but I'm back at it again. It occurs to me that the ring of regeneration does not work if you weren't wearing the ring when you took damage and that essence loss is going to affect the personalities of the band.

I fucking love this story and I want more. More, man. MORE! I know it's a bit of a long shot considering the passing time and no update, but I'm begging ya, I want to see where this goes.
(Also, dunno how you feel about game-breakingly powerful shit, but Chakra Fruit from Naruto? Just an Idea. Also, some version of the Blacklight Virus, though these guys don't seem like they'd go for something quite THAT extreme.)
