It's sad that such a great inspiring unique story like Naruto had to give in to $$commercial merchandising$$ in the end. Whatever happened to the most "unpredictable knucklehead" Naruto, Kishi sensei? You are a sellout! I heard they're gonna have a mini series (6 chapters?) featuring second generation Naruto in 2015. That whole chapter 700 was the industry ploy to take in more money off Naruto The Last movie & that mini series. I really think Kishi originally had intended open ending, and Naruto series was rumored to have ended in 2013 but probably SJ magazine crew & the rest of money mongers dragged it another year with some BS plot lines in between initial Kishi story lines to troll us along...The way Japanese manga publication works, the editors in charge of each manga ka like Kishi have great control over them, many times deciding how the story goes. Kishi the artist being a mere show panda of sorts to attract the readers they (think) they want...sad sad sad

I never thought SasuNaru would become official, but I did hope it would be open-ended or that Naruto would end up with an unknown girl. Why Sasuke was paired up is beyond me. Anywhoo, I felt more disappointed than anything, also. What a waste of my time and energy. Kishi and his team have let so many down with this. Smh.

All the foreshadowing, the yin and yang, the sun and moon, everything about Sasuke and Naruto was just thrown away at the end, like nothing happened in the last 15 years of this series. The ending could have had so much potential. So much charater development went into Naruto and Sasuke and for what? A half a**ed ending?
It really does hurt and I'm so disappointed :(
I spent the last 15 years falling in love with Sasuke and Naruto and Naruto's story that the pairings in the end don't make any sense at all- Hinata wasn't even present in the majority of the story line, she didn't grow along side Naruto- Heck NaruSaku makes more sense!
My heart broke and I'm also pretending that 700 and the new movie and the entire ending just doesn't exist
I'm sorry for all of us who loved SasuNaru/ NaruSasu and was overlooked even with everything that has happened in the story between them that makes them the most canon.

I was extremely disappointed with the ending as well. I had been hoping that Kishimoto would make us all happy with an open ending and allow us to fantasize about their lives and new adventures...Thank you for this lovely piece! It was just what I needed. I was finally able to release the tears that I've been holding back all day.

I emptied myself of all expectations months ago because I just knew this shitty ending was looming ahead like a great tsunami that would drown me if I didn't run on time. So I did. But reading this from you, who I don't even know, it all takes a whole new meaning. I'm het, but I sympathize so much with your loss. I lose a part of me, too. I've been reading this from years. I've cried over their love so many times I cannot hope to remember them all, not even half. I'm so sorry. For you, for me, for we all. There was so much behind that stupid ninja story, something greater, something powerful and /real/, and Kishi just let it slip. I wonder if he even has the slightest idea of how much Naruto stopped being his and became ours along the years. I hope he gets to realize it someday, and I hope it hurts him just as much as it hurts you now.

You ate right, so fucking right. I feel empty too, I may not watched or readed Naruto from the begining but really? Salada and bolt?! What the heck!? I wiuld rather for the two of them to end withouth a partner and childrens than that! And naruhina? That doesnt even has sens!

I hated how the manga ended. I was hoping that SasuNaru would win but of course there was too many Naruhina and SasuSaku fans.
