I love this story! Fili is such a good brother. I can't see him being prejudiced like his uncle either; proud and wary, yes, but prejudiced, no. Your writing style was beautiful and I love the ending. Fili would have made a much better king than Thorin.

I like how you went with Fili's POV since Kili's has been done to death, I like Reading stories about Kili a lot but it is nice seeing how Fili is not getting as side stepped as usual, specially since he has so much responsability on his shoulders even if he doesn't always show it.

Oh come on! Here I am trying to emotionally detach myself from my favorite brothers in preparation for a certain battle to come, and then you go and post something like this to turn me to mush over them again. Really? Shame on you.
