What a cute story of Sarada and Boruto. To have him catch her eye later in their lives made for a nice story.

The innocent bonding over like situations with their fathers and the easy nature of their conversation made for a precious set up. The discovery that Boruto thought she was pretty definitely captured the high point of the day and it was easy to see how the a relationship like this could garner quite a bit of attention from their fathers!

Ok, on to the real review: This was excellent. The way you write Sasuke and Sakura warms my heart. Sakura is wonderful, and Sasuke is on-point. Honestly, I feel bad for even trying to write him. I could never do it as perfectly as you did. "I'm going to be a terrible father." Gold. And his blabbering about the things his daughter will need - even more gold. Golder. The goldiest. Shoot me.

And even if "Congratulations" wasn't your original idea, it still flowed perfectly. Gosh, I can't envision Sasuke reacting any other way.

This whole one-shot is wonderful. WON-DER-FUL. My poor maiden heart which is not so maiden-y anymore is tightening in feels. If I ever need some SasuSaku inspiration, I will re-read this or one of the following one-shots.
