This was a VERY lovely piece!

I absolutely love the way you described the contrast between Tadashi's academic intelligence and Hiro's genius, how different in temperment the two are, Hiro's boredom and subsequent behavioral problems, as well as Aunt Cass's flustered self-deprecating view of her parenting abilities. It all felt very genuine. And Tadashi's matter-of-fact "but Hiro is smarter than me" at that end was just heart-melting. The love, pride, and confidence he has in his little brother is completely summed up in that moment.

This was so cute! I loved it, it was a very enjoyable oneshot, and I didn't cry (FOR ONCE)! It's extremely rare for me to enter this fandom without crying (SO. MANY. FEELS. IN ONE SPOT!), and this was just what I needed, a little pick-me-up! Good job on this, it was so cute! :)

I can see Hiro being an absolute terror until they figured out that he should bump up a few grades. In the alternate opening of the movie, they show that Hiro seems really nervous and hesitant to be in with the bigger kids. Yet I can totally understand if he was a tornado when he was in the little kid classes.

It's so good! I've never really thought about how Hiro would have been as a little kid. It's a good idea that he looks like a problem student but is actually brilliant. I want to hear what happens next and how Cass actually starts to believe Hiro is smart.

This is now totally my head cannon. I can so picture this happening. Aunt Cass is spot on and it makes so much sense why Tadashi and Hiro are the way they are. Great insight! Wonderful one shot.
