This is great. Fresh. I like how it integrates post-war, without really messing around with the end result of the making Ino a homewrecker or Shikamaru some cheater. That kind of thing. The tone of their relationship is strained of the what if's and could haves and how you've written it is beautifully done. x

I really like your solid description. Reading your story was like having a mini video twirling around in head to put it in an odd way. It's certainly an story that will make you feel.
You've done a great job portraying their meeting and current relationship as some sort of stale relic of a much happier time. Something they feel like they have to do for old times sake with the hope that something might change sometime. The dialogue you've written goes great along with the mood and surrounding you've created. To me it's the surroundings that does the story because of the emotions they evoke.
Thank you for sharing and I'm certainly hoping for a part two.
