I still find the “Finn’s descent into madness / PTSD” a tough arc on the show. It was necessary in a way because it provided us all with a touchstone and I honestly wonder what people that judged him so hard think now.

Everyone was so outraged, and now look what all the other characters, even (especially!) Bellamy, have been a part of and no one seems to get judged as hard.

I have a very soft spot for Finn, (I was never for or particularly against him with Clarke, she had chemistry with everyone and I particularly love her with Bellamy while I preferred Finn with Raven, but even that doesn’t matter)

I can see why you wrote this and it gives an interesting look, because I feel like the show failed us there a bit, going from 0-100 with Finn’s turn to the “dark side”.

All of a sudden we are to believe he doesn’t care about those fellow Arkers hanging off the precipice, shoots an unarmed man? The massacre was actually the most understandable part because by then he was deep in it, and the one grounder’s movement just tipped him over the edge because I envisioned an attack.

Oh well. Sorry for the long comment. lol

I love fics that try to make sense. Seeing it from Bellamy’s POV was interesting, too.

Tht addresses the suffering for all when it comes to tragedies like this. It doesn't justify a person actions or explains, but describes the ramifications of killing in a way that acknowledges everyone involved. Very nice portrayal of the mental struggle that Finn probably has yo deal with.

Loved this. I love how you portray Finn, completely confused at what he had done. I kinda wish the show had done that, because I would have been more sympathetic towards him. But I don't hate Finn, not in the show. I think the turn his character has taken is realistic and interesting. I am glad he is showing some remorse too.

This interpretation of the massacre is very interesting. If Finn truly erased his actions as something else then it could mean for Finn's mental state.
