So, Big Hero 6 came on television tonight and halfway through, BAM! I remembered this story and desperately had to read it again. GREAT chapter. I remember reading it when you posted, for some reason didn't review. Well, I'm reviewing now. Way to tug on the heartstrings! Loved it. I really hope you write up at least one more chapter or an epilogue to this! If not, at least we got a bit of brotherly peace there at the end, haha.

Oh wow... Ha okay. That was one emotional rollercoaster, holy smokes. I didn't do my homework, just sat her for about an hour and a half, it was really amazing. I really loved your style and the whole dark plot (I'm a sucker for angst)- yet I seem to pick the wrong fandoms. Anyway I just wanted to tell you I absolutely loved this...

It's definitely been a while since I've been on the site. I haven't written anything myself in years, but I'll tell you one thing, I was SO excited when I visited your page (yes, after all these years I still had your username memorized) and discovered that YOU were still writing! Then I found this little gem of a story. I had initially intended to re-read some of your older work when this caught my eye! Gotta tell ya, I love the storyline. I really enjoyed Big Hero 6, but was desperately craving some brother fluff. Your story has definitely met those needs! I truly hope that you update soon, and I can't wait to see how the rest of the story unfolds! :)

As much as Callaghan deserved to die, I'm a bit conflicted about how it played out. I honestly wanted him to suffer more - not with torture or physical violence, but seeing himself truly lose everything: have his daughter turn against him completely, to have every crime he committed (and I would say he's the only one responsible for what Yokai did, not Tadashi) exposed to the world, things like that. And if it turned out Krei wasn't responsible for Tomeo's and Marie's deaths, it would truly leave him with nothing.

And it just seems hopeless for Hiro at this point, but if Tadashi does lose him, even if Yokai doesn't return I can't see him coming back, no matter who else is with him (maybe even Suri.) I can't see him leaving his side, and I quite frankly NEED Hiro to be okay, to tell Tadashi that there's nothing to forgive because it wasn't his fault, and that he's still loved! I seriously can't wait for the next chapter!

And the final battle happens!

Yes, it does meet my expectations (since I still remember the original BH6 one-shot which is the main inspiration for this story), but I do wish Tadashi still have his final moments with Hiro in the next chapter before the younger Hamada let out his final breath - that is, if that's what you have in mind to plan.

I'd say Tadashi's resurgence in the other realm shows he wants to come back, but Yokai coming back so soon just shows how shattered he still is. And seeing Gogo ready to go so far was, well, disturbing, but considering what happened...

And then there's Abigail - what exactly does Callaghan have planned? A fourth grave? And how will she react when he explains what he's done for her? Because I can't see him holding back at this point. Spitting in his face and saying he's dead to her seems like the least she would do.

Whatever happens, I can't wait to see that last battle, and I really hope you keep going past to show, well, everyone's recovery!

I think that really is the fundamental question, does Tadashi want to come back? I think from the way he fought Yokai, and even his own question at the end, shows he does. But how they can help him force Yokai into the abyss is the big question, and there's going to be a lot of pain along the way. I'm just picturing some horrible scene of Tadashi REALLY hurting Hiro, only to finally break when he realizes what he's done.

And as much as Callaghan honestly deserves it, it was still unsettling to see Hiro so... single-minded when it came to talking about killing him. And especially seeing him say he might need to be like Callaghan, or that he already is. But Suri's right - he can't win that way. We'll just have to see what choice he makes.

And I do just want to say I'm so happy you were able to have Honey Lemon and Gogo get together! They aren't my favorite ship, but definitely one of them, and they were just adorable together! I just hope they (and everyone) can have a happy ending.
